Special trains to clear Rush

VIJAYAWADA: In order to clear the extra rush of passengers in view of Brahmotsavam and Dasara festival season, the South Central Railways has decided to run 22 more special trains in addition to those announced earlier.

The Kakinada-Tirupati. Kakinada special trains (18 Services). With train No. 07941. Kakinada-Tirupati will depart Kakinada at 7 pm on October 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 27 and 31, and arrive Tirupati at 6.20 am the next day.

In the return direction, Train No.07942 Tirupati-Kakinada special train will depart at Tirupati at 7pm on October 2, 5, 9, 12, 16, 19, 23, 26 and 30, and arrive in Kakinada at 5.30 am the next day.

En route, these dasara special trains will stop at Kakinada Town, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepaligudem, Eluru, VijayaWada, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Srikalahasti and Renigunta stations in both directions. All the special trains will consist of 13 coaches’ viz., three sleeper class, eight general second class and two luggage-cum-brake van Coaches.

The Tirupati-H.S. Nanded-Tirupati special trains (four services) With No. O76O7 H.S. Nanded-Tirupati Special Train will leave H.S.Nanded at 6.45pm on October 4 and 11 and arrive at Tirupati at 2pm the next day. Train No. 07608 Tirupati-H.S. Nanded special train will leave Tirupati at 3.45 pm On October 5 and 12 and arrive at H.S.Nanded at 11.30am the next day.

En route, these special trains will stop at Renigunta, Sri Kalahasti, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Tenali, VijayaWada, Khammam, Warangal, Kazipet, Secunderabad, Malkajgiri, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Basar, Dharmabad and Mudkhed Stations. The special train Will consist of 12 coaches Viz., One AC II-Tier, One AC III-Tier, five sleeper class, two general Second class and two luggageCum-brake van Coaches.
