Hi-Res Teaser Poster for PROMETHEUS

As you may have noticed, the marketing for 2012’s films is going crazy over the summer as the audience turns to multiplexes during the holidays. We recently had at least one trailer a week for a Summer movie, and usually, come with posters along with packages. We did not receive a trailer for Ridley Scott’s Promises (or anything beyond these pictures), but the movie poster may have gone online. Collider’s reader John sent us a link to a snapshot of what the movie teaser poster might be. This seems legitimate, especially since MPAA is not ranked at the bottom. The fake ones usually carry it though the movie doesn’t come close to being screened and rated by the MPAA.
If it’s a poster, it’s serviceable. There is nothing to show for the alien (or alien’s DNA) connection, but the poster lets you know that this is a sci-fi movie and is coming out on June 8, 2012. I can’t make the tagline, but we’ll update that story when the official version is released. Jump to check posters. The 3D movie was played by Charles Theron, Michael Fassbender, Naomi Rapci, Idris Elba, and Guy Paris. [Update: The poster was the real deal. Check out the official, hi-res version after you jump.]
Some people are watching the exact match between this poster and the poster of Allen. I don’t see it, but I’m sure there are comparisons and some people will see how the Prometheus poster references Allen’s poster. I’ve put both down
