T.D.P MP j.c. Diwakar denied boarding pass by Air India

MP DENIED BOARDING PASS BY Air India VIJAYAWADA, SEPT. 15: Telugu Desam MP J.C. Diwakar Reddy expressed anger Over Air India personnel denying boarding pass at Gannavaram airport On Friday.

When the MP reached the airport and was at the counter to take a boarding pass, the Air India personnel said that the flight has been full and hence they can’t issue a boarding pass. This had taken place in the afternoon, as Mr. DiWakar Reddy was supposed to board the 1.30 pm flight for Hyderabad.

Then the MP told them that he was informed through message that his ticket has been Confirmed and how Come they deny the boarding pass to him. Following which tense situation prevailed there for sometime.

The Air India personnel explained to the MP that 84 passengers booked the tickets and as there were only 72 seats, they can’t provide him a seat. Social Welfare department principal secretary S.S. Rawat was also denied boarding pass with the MP.

Irked with the developments, the MP had spoken to civil aviation minister P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju Over phone and following the intervention of airport director Madhusudan Rao, the issue was resolved.
