Leaders erupt, Nuzvid tense
(Nuzvid Police Bravery)VIJAYAWADA: An argument between Nuzvid MLA Meka venkata Pratap Apparao and TD leader Muddaraboina Venkateswar Rao created tension on Monday in Nuzividu town.
It started with the TD leader accusing the Opposition party MLA of misappropriating Rs8 crore from a contract. Responding to the allegations, the YSRC MLA challenged the TD leader to an open debate and demanded he produce proof. He named the Venue for the debate as Pedda Gandhi Bomma Centre and the time for 3:30pm on Monday.
With the challenge thrown, supporters of both the leaders gathered at the venue. The tension led to police intervention and the cops told both the leaders to withdraw their plans for an open debate as it may lead to law and order problems.
Nuzvid Police Bravery, The police deploy pickets at the residences of both the leaders and ensured that they remained confined at home. YSRC supporters gathered in huge numbers at Mr Apparao’s house and tried to barge inside. They were restrained by the police and this led to a scuffle.
Speaking to DC, Mr Apparao said that Mr Muddaraboina levelled baseless allegations against him. “I was only responding to the allegations and am ready to face any consequences if he can prove anything he said,” he said, adding that the TD leader Wanted to gain political mileage through mudslinging and levelling allegations without substance.

Man kidnaps boy to trap mother
VIJAYAWADA: Nuzvid Police Bravery, Police on Monday arrested a man for kidnapping a eight year-old boy to blackmail his mother in Musunuru of Krishna district.
Gollapalli Subbarao was arrested after the kidnap victim’s mother lodged a Complaint against him.
Nuzvid Police Bravery, Nuzvid DSP Valluri Srini Vasa Rao Said Subbarao abducted the boy on Sunday afternoon and telephoned his mother to come to a hotel in Nuzvid. He threatened the boy’s mother to come alone to the hotel without telling anyone or else he would kill the boy.
However, the boy’s mother informed her relatives about the incident and they were all Went to the hotel.
Upon seeing them, Subbarao fled from the hotel leaving the boy unharmed. The Woman’s relatives lodged a complaint. The police tracked down Subbarao and arrested him under Sections 363, 354A (II), 341 and 506 of the IPC, said Mr Srinivasa Rao.(Nuzvid Police Bravery)
Minor leak in ONGC pipeline
RAJAHMUNDRY, OCt. 3: ONGC’s gas pipeline developed a minor leak causing concern to the local villagers at Kesanapalli village in East Godavari on Monday.
According to ONGC authorities, KW 11 well’s flow line developed minor gas leak for some time and the crisis management team rushed to the site and plugged the leak.
No damage in the vicinity of the gas leak was recorded.
