Amaravati: A two-day state level APIRIA conference would be held at Guntur Medical College on August 27 and 28.
The Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA) is conducting the conference, IRIA conference committee chairman Dr. Ch. Kishore Kumar, addressing a press meet at Guntur on Thursday, said that the two-day conference would be helpful for the young radiologists and postgraduate students to hone their professional skills.
He said that experts will deliver speeches about latest developments in radiology and imaging technology in detail. Dr. Kishore said that the conference would be inaugurated by Indian Medical Council chairman Dr Y. Raja Rao on August 27 and former director of NIIMS, Dr Kakarla Subba Rao, IRIA national president Dr O.P. Bansal, APIRIA president Ch. Lakshmana Rao and other expert doctors will participate in the seminar.
He added that doctors and medical students from Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Coimbattur, Hyderabad and other areas will attend the conference.
