Harry Gregson Williams is an award-winning film composer from the United States who began making his mark in the Hollywood film industry at the turn of the century. Known for working in film franchises such as The Partner and The Chronicles of Narnia, she is the older brother of film / TV composer Rupert Gregson Williams.
Crimson Tide [Original Motion Picture Soundtrack] Born in England on December 13, 1961, Gregson Williams studied sound and piano at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he later taught music. When he started working as a film composer in the early '90s, he had a big break when he was taken over by Oscar-winning film composer Hans Zimmer in the mid-'90s.
He has worked on the soundtrack to Zimmer-driven films, including Crimson Tide (1995), Muppet Treasure Island (1996), The Rock (1996), and The Good At Gates (1997). He also collaborated with Trevor Robin (1998's Enemy and the state's Armageddon) and John Powell (Antoine 1998, Chicken Run of 2000, Shake of 2001).
