Fast and Furious 9 is coming out on May 2020 and the fast and furious of Vin Diesel marketing is already going to 11. At this point, we finally know when the trailer will launch - and arrive in a strange way on January 31st.
Fast and Furious 9 was the longest shooting in franchise history and Vin Diesel updated Instagram at every step. Recently, it teased that the first trailer is coming out next month and the release date is set for December 18th.
Then he teased that he saw the trailer himself and was left "speechless" - saying he had to have dinner with director Justin Lin to talk to him.
Then we actually got the trailer release date. Not a trailer, but just a release date - and what a release! In true fast fashion, live performances are scheduled to take place January 31 in Miami with musical performances and fast and feverish cast members. That's when the Fast 9 trailer finally premieres. All of this will happen just two days before Super Bowl LIV 2020, so they're taking more time, space and interest. Here is the announcement from the official F9 account:
At best I have a hard time believing that Pitbull won't perform as well, as it seems to be the kind of thing he immediately appears on - through a firework or a cake spread on a boat. Like. The Fast and Furious 9 trailer event will feature at least Cardi B, Ludacris and Ozuna, all of whom are featured in the film. After all the hype, the trailer had to be better understood.
The Fast and the Furious emulates the 9ft Ferris, which was ripped off the screen by rumours of a rift between The Rock and One Diesel. The controversy seems to have ended now, and Dwayne Johnson appears poised to return to the franchise, which gave him his successful hubbubs and a show spin-off.
Fast 9 returns Van Diesel as Dominique Toronto, as well as Michelle Rodriguez, who had some concerns before coming back. Giordana Brewster is returning as Mia Toronto for the first time since Feb. 7, and maybe joining Mia Bryan, though we will see her again. Other stars of the film include Tires Gibson, Nathalie Emanuel, Helen Marin, Charlize Theron, Michael Rucker, John Cena, and Anna Swai.
Fast and Furious 9 is slated to open in cinemas on May 22, 2020, Fast 10 is already in the works and may close the franchise in addition to more spin-offs. Or not? We'll have to wait. Keep everything going on the big screen next year with our 2020 movie release date schedule.
