Prometheus TV Spot Shows More Creature Footage
A new TV spot showing more creature footage has started to air across multiple networks in North America. Luckily, PrometheusForum user nonentity was able to capture this new footage on his Tivo and share it on the forum. We are thankful to him for this. But be warned that the following video has a bit of SPOILERS.

Wow. In my opinion all the people who wanted the movie to be R, not because they wanted the movie to be without cuts, but because they wanted just strictly an R for the sake of it need to be banned from it. Go see Madagascar 3 instead.

i don’t know about you but i wasn’t trolling the internet as you said but saw the majority of trailers on tv (and came on this site to share my opinion – which the comment section is for in case you missed it) and did not appreciate the fact they’re showing deaths and creatures in the trailers. unlike internet tv adverts usually don’t come with ‘spoiler’ tags – and even if they did i know i shouldn’t run out of the room covering my ears and eyes every time the prometheus advert comes on. and it’s not like they’re showing a leaked, top secret, the butler did it clip but an official trailer – i shouldn’t be dreading it every time it pops up on tv..
back on course, as i said, i don’t appreciate the travesty that fox marketing department has pulled on the viewers which is obvious just by observing the creature extracted out of shaw’s stomach – now it’s there, then it’s blurred, then erased. i wonder how long before they start erasing every scene with xenocobra..?
anyway, i do realize that prometheus is story driven, but i so wish for it to have those facehugger/chestburster/c’mere dallas and get yourself a hug – iconic scenes that will frighten the life out of you.
i hope that ridley has a couple more creatures in his sleeve…

This is complete marketing overkill. these spoilers are like crack. In the rush to generate publicity they are in danger of spoiling everything that made Alien so great. We all remember the first time we saw the creature and the utter terror generated in our minds. I sincerely hope there are some surprises left.
I’ve been thinking about this and in the most part you are right, lot’s of surprise killers. On the other hand, I recall back in 1979, the talk in the playground was “Alien” and all the kids were jabbering about the various scenes including the chest burster et al. The thing I’m starting to realise is that, even though we were primed with foreknowledge of things that would happen, it didn’t detract greatly from the horror of seeing the movie for the first time and seeing the context of all that excited talk. Sure we knew what was coming, but to experience in correct sequence and the total immersion in that movie did nothing to remove the overall awsomeness.
Hmmm….since we dont actually know the context of the above sequence with the SJ, could he be the one they reference as the ‘sacrifice engineer’?
Hmm. I see a tentacled creature. The Twitter Girl was right on that one too. I think, on balance, that she did indeed see the film and that we shouldn’t completely dismiss her comments.
Is at least possible that there is more than one Juggernaught in this film? Shaw appears to be repelling down from one of the three vaginal openings in the center of the hoarse shoe. Where in the film would this fall? Post crash? Is this before liftoff? That seems odd because we seem to see her running over the tops or the launch doors prior to its liftoff. Or, is it possible that is someone else?
I’ll have to put the Destiny’s science team on this one…

and for some odd reason people are complaining about the lack of giger in the tenticle idea …..i reckon i could get at least 20 giger paintings that feature tenticles
plus the guy has a deep loathing fear of anything wormlike …i do think that the thing getting close to the giant bald guy is cuddles i just cant see it being anything manlike with tenticles……….i think that twitter chick was full of bs , maybe she just got privvy to all the tvspots we have had ….

Hmmm wish I hadn’t seen this one. Is basically the creature in Dan O bannons original Star Beast script. Seems prometheus is as much a remake of the film that Ridley wanted to make as a prequel.

I think anyone who knows about and wants to see this movie already has some rough idea where it is all supposed to be heading by now anyway.
I just hope reviews are very positive and where I live the avalability of IMAX screenings is pathetic.
The Engineer pushes Shaw to the floor. As he comes up to her, Shaw screams in horror by what she sees behind him. The Engineer gets caught off guard while Shaw tries to escape.
