Julian Caldow (IMDb) is an illustrator and storyboard artist who has worked in art departments of numerous films for the last 20 years. On his personal website, there is some of his work for Prometheus that comprises of designs for various sets throughout the film. That Ampule Room Archway is just breath-taking! Hard to believe its not by Giger….
Love the Prometheus walk through!
The TED stage is really over the top. I doubt people in the future will make the effort or have the need to physically attend an event that will be televised in 3D through their hologram home theaters (as seen in Prometheus), where they’ll be sitting on the couch with everything they ever need around them.
Seriously, look at the discomfort of everyone in the audience, just to see Weyland’s puffery through two crappy faraway screens and distant speakers. Weyland himself wouldn’t leave his house to give this speech. He’d send his hologram just for safety issues itself. Anyway, I better go do that poo I’ve been holding in just to write this.
