Prometheus on DVD / Blu-ray coming October 11, 2012
US Amazon.com has updated their product listing for Prometheus to show the date of its DVD release — it comes out stateside on October 11, 2012 or 10.11.12. Amazon’s product listing for the Blu-ray version has yet to show a release date, but it should be the same.
Incidentally, fans in the UK can have their legal copy of the movie as early as October 1st.

That would explain their viral date, I guess Comic Con in NY will be pushing the DVD arounds. Im looking forward to seeing all the extra things on the disc and the shots that did not make it into the film….
The artwork is fake, it’s not official
In the Fox Shop you can read “Disc 1: Theatrical Feature”. That sounds like there will be a Extended Cut
